Describe how this scholarship will impact on your personal circumstances

Evidence to attach for this criterion could include financial evidence e.g. student loan statements, a testimonial from a person of standing in the community attesting to your need for the scholarship.

Note: If you are receiving support from Work and Income New Zealand (WINZ) please include this in this section. You must also disclose in this section whether or not you have applied for other sources of funding. You do not need to know the outcome of other applications but in some instances you will not be able to hold this grant as well as another grant or scholarship.

All applicants are also encouraged to investigate their eligibility for other grants and scholarships. Assistance in doing this is available from the liaison staff. Applicants should also contact Work and Income New Zealand (0800 88 99 00) regarding their eligibility for a student allowance.
