TCANZ Annual Conference
The Technical Communicators Association of New Zealand (TCANZ) holds a conference every two years in one of the three centres Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. The sixth biennial conference will be held in Wellington in November 2007.
This conference is intended to provide up-to-the-minute information on local and international trends and developments for documentation specialists, commonly known as technical communicators or technical writers. If your work involves developing business documents, manuals, user guides, intranet pages or web content - this conference is for you! Alternatively, if you know someone whose work involves these kinds of activities, please forward this message to them.
There are also two pre-conference half-day workshops, one of which is being presented by Whitney Quesenbery, a past president of the Usability Professionals' Association (see below).
- Conference title: Absolutely Positively Cutting Edge: Communication Strategies for the 21st Century
- When: Wednesday 7 to Friday 9 November, 2007
- Where: Duxton Hotel, Wellington, New Zealand
Full details of the conference, including online registration, are on the TCANZ web site. Earlybird registrations close 30 September.
