Society for Technical Communication - New Zealand Chapter

Competitions

STC competitions recognise excellence in technical communication, provide valuable peer feedback and raise awareness of the profession. Competitions are run at a local level by chapters and at an international level by the parent STC body.

The New Zealand Chapter has decided that in view of the small number of members it will not be feasible to run local competitions. However, New Zealand members can enter competitions run by the Australian STC Chapter or any other world-wide chapter.

Who is eligible?

Anyone is eligible to submit entries to a chapter-based competition. You do not have to be a member of STC. You may enter work as an individual or on behalf of a colleague or subordinate. To enter an international STC competition, you must have won a chapter-based competition.

Those interested in entering the STC competitions from New Zealand can enter via the Australian chapter or a North American chapter. If you would like some help in doing this, please contact the President, or Secretary.

The STC Atlanta Chapter is also happy to accept submissions from New Zealand members. Read Leigh Richardson's message about entering competitions via the Atlanta Chapter.
