About Us
STC (Society for Technical Communication) New Zealand Chapter represents professional and technical communicators from around New Zealand.
The STC is a professional, world-wide association that works to advance the arts and sciences of technical communication. Its 20,000+ members include technical writers, editors, graphic designers, multimedia artists, Web and intranet page information designers, translators and others whose work involves making technical information understandable and available to those who need it.
As part of the STC, STCNZ provides access to STC resources, opportunities for ongoing learning, and professional networking for New Zealand members.
About New Zealand
Great natural beauty, friendly people, Maori culture, mountains with glaciers and rain forests, beaches, fjords, fishing, sailing, surfing, skiing, golf, hiking, thermal baths, wildlife and sheep are New Zealand's foremost attractions. It is said that everyone should visit New Zealand at least once.
Here are some useful links for those people who want to know more about New Zealand, also called Aotearoa or "Land of the Long White Cloud".

Built with web standards
This web site uses W3C web standard XHTML, XML, and CSS in its construction. These have been used because of their high degree of usability and accessibility, and because they are carefully designed to deliver the greatest benefits to the greatest number of web users long-term.
We think a professional technical communication site should be a good example to others, so we have chosen to use and support the work of the Web Standards Project.
